About LineScan

LineScan Technologies

LineScan Technologies is a geospatial data production and infrastructure intelligence company. We are explicitly not a drone services firm, a mapping vendor, or a visualization company. We operate a disciplined, repeatable production engine that converts physical infrastructure into defensible, auditable, decision-grade GIS data at scale.

Our primary focus is roadway intelligence for counties and municipalities—built for year-over-year continuity, not one-off projects. We deliver full-coverage, standardized GIS outputs that support planning, prioritization, and long-term network management. Alongside roadway programs, we provide corridor-level utility and vegetation intelligence designed for real operational decisions, including real-time LiDAR-based vegetation insights that utilities can trust.

LineScan's advantage is not the sensor—it's the operating system behind the data. Field capture follows hardened rules for predictable throughput and consistent outcomes. Production runs through a locked pipeline—capture, processing, vectorization, QC, validation, and delivery—with strict naming, version control, metadata discipline, and coverage verification. This "boring on purpose" approach reduces rework, protects schedule, and keeps the data defensible.

We are designed to scale cleanly without sacrificing reliability. We compete on the lowest failure rate—because infrastructure decisions demand credibility, repeatability, and data that holds up over time.

Our approach

We start with the decisions that matter, then build deliverables around what teams need to explain, justify, and execute. The goal is practical outputs that work in meetings and in the field.

  • • Clear scope and documented assumptions
  • • Consistent reporting for ongoing programs
  • • Deliverables packaged for handoff and adoption

What we value

Accuracy
We avoid guessing and keep outputs traceable.
Clarity
If it can’t be explained, it can’t be defended.
Usability
Deliverables should be easy to adopt and share.
